Cameron Cloud — Artist Bio

Originally from Texas and now based in Los Angeles, Cameron Cloud has been connected to electronic music for well over a decade. His roots in the scene go back to the early 2010s, when dubstep first caught his attention and introduced him to a sound he would continue exploring for years. From the early Skrillex era to artists like Of The Trees, Zeds Dead, Tape B, Odd Mob, and John Summit, his taste has evolved across genres while keeping a strong connection to bass music.

Cameron first got behind the decks playing and experimenting with music alongside friends in Texas, including an early appearance at SXSW in 2017. After moving to Los Angeles in 2018, he began taking DJing more seriously around 2022, encouraged by his friend Esli Sugich to invest in his own equipment and get more involved in the local scene.

Since then, he’s developed a sound that moves between house, tech house, and heavier bass music, often incorporating hip-hop influences, recognizable vocals, and his own selection of remixes and bass flips. His sets reflect years spent discovering music, attending shows, and finding connections between styles that don’t always seem like they belong together.

His performances have included Venice Afterburn, Clinic Wednesdays, Los Globos, and appearances across the Los Angeles club and underground music scene. With a background in photography, visual art, and creative direction, Cameron brings that same creative perspective to his music, with an interest in building performances that feel as intentional visually as they do musically.
